Three Favorite Things

Number one:  A visit from a friend.
Number two:  A lovely stitched pillow.
And number three:  A lamp decorated with pretty crochet trim.
One of my very best friends arrived from Lebanon on Thursday, so in addition to fighting a cold this past week, I was cleaning and preparing for her visit.
Mona is a wonderful artist -- she can draw, paint, crochet, cross-stitch, sew.  And most of the time she does this without patterns.  I'm always amazed with the beautiful work she does and grateful that she bestows me with her wonderful handmade gifts.
Of course, more than anything, I value her friendship.
Today I am joining Claudia at Mockingbird Hill Cottage for A Favorite Thing.

Have a great day!

The trim around lamp and the pillow, is giving a vintage look. Have you made them?

  11. Like you, I too share great friendships - and when we get together it's always like time between visits slip away and the feeling is easy, comfy, and the best it can be.

Glad you and Mona are having a fun time - you both look fabulous. Love the crochet, did Mona make the shade? I'm still struggling with the first row as I teach myself this new craft! I went back to my knitting while watching TV - just hate sitting there with nothing being created.

    Enjoy the weekend Tammy.
    Hugs - Mary
