Sweet Hearts

Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination.
Voltaire
Today at work I gave out little envelopes filled with green tea, chocolate and crocheted hearts.
It's amazing how the simplest of gifts can spread such joy!
In return, one of my co-workers sent me this graphic.

So cute!
She used the website ImageChef ...
which is where I created this little image.

There's lots of different options for frames and mosaics so I plan to make more for all sorts of occasions.
Our Middle School Principal recently returned from a trip to the States and brought back conversation hearts.
I haven't seen them here in years so it was a nice surprise.
This past week has been crazy busy so I am very, very happy that the weekend has arrived.
I hope that you are all having a great week.
And that your day is filled with sweet, sweet love!

  7. I too love leaving little gifts and did so this morning for my 2 co-workers. :) It will be a day of fun at our house with a special Valentine's dinner tonight for my husband and daughter and gifts and cards shared.

Hey, for once, it's my weekend at the same time as yours except mine is a 4-day weekend this week and I'm so looking forward to the start of it.

Have a happy Valentine's day and weekend.

  8. Your little gifts were a delight Tammy, such a lovely thought.
Those sweets are called 'love hearts' here in the UK and taste the same as they did when I was small.
    Happy valentines.

  11. When I hear about people who hate Valentine's Day, I feel like they are missing the point. What's wrong with a day when we express our affection for our fellow human beings? It doesn't have to be just a romantic day; it can also be a day of thoughtfulness and friendship. How kind of you to brighten your co-workers day. I hope you felt equally appreciated on Valentine's Day!
