Tea and Favorite Things

I'm joining Kimmie again for Tea on Tuesday with a few of my favorite things.
Twinings Organic African Honeybush & Lemon tea which I drink from a Starbucks coffee mug.  The teabag is good for a couple of cups.
The easiest, yummiest sugar cookies served with a lemon glaze (powdered sugar and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice).
The tutorial for this little crocheted gift bag.  When I can't decide what to do, I just whip up a few of these.  Makes gift-giving so much nicer.
If you prefer chocolate, just mix together a pat of butter with powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
Any way you serve them up, these cookies are great.
Sending sweet wishes your way for a wonderful day!

  1. Hi Tammy! Always nice to relax a bit! I'm looking forward for such days!I've tried twinings in the past, but the truth is I prefer the mountain tea (or sideritis), which is quite popular in Greece! I find it lighter towards the black tea!
Very interesting bag-tutorial! Maybe I'll try it some day!
    Have a nice day,

  15. I knew I'd be late getting here, but it's already tomorrow in your world.

Those cookies look divine and that organic tea sounds wonderful. I am a caffeine hog, though, and I suspect this is decaf. I want one of the cookies, though (grin).

I am having a giveaway from Novica and I just realized it ends tonight at midnight central standard time so I am not sure what time it there for you now. For some crazy reason I can not keep up with the dates of this week.

  27. I have to get some Twinings. So many teas I get are so weak I can't even taste them. I remember the days when I could get 2 cups from one bag but some these today you're lucky if you get 1 decent cup.
Oh, a new cookie recipe! YES! I love cookies. They're my favorite dessert to have on hand and that one looks so tasty with the lemon and then how you made a chocolate one too. I think I need to make those A.S.A.P.! thanks as always and have a great weekend!
