A couple of weeks ago, I discovered Hershey's Dark Chocolate Pieces at the grocery store. Have you tried them? They've quickly become one of my favorite treats. A handful a day is about all I need.
Along with a cup of tea and crochet, it becomes a special part of my afternoon or evening. I'm still making Daisy Wheel Dishcloths like crazy. And the little crocheted flowers below are Forget-me-nots made from a pattern found at Little Treasures.
If you pop over to Art in Red Wagons for tea today, you will find that Kimmie is having a wonderful giveaway. A spring banner made from used tea bags stamped with her own designs. So creative and beautiful!
Have a terrific Tuesday!
What a perfect and lovely combo. Hope that your upcoming week is equally delightful

Tammy,
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate / red dishcloth is amazing {great combination of photos with the chocolate buttons}! And the little forget me nots turned out beautiful!! Thank you for trying the pattern - I am glad you like them!
Great combo but I confess I am not a chocolate eater. Being lactose intolerant the MILK chocolate is more than my tummy can take!! DRAT!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the Day!!

Yum, yum, yum Tammy. T C and C. What is better than that? :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that you find joy in the little things in each new day. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried those but I'm not a big chocolate candy fan.
Hope you have a beautiful remainder of the week.
Linda
One cannot go wrong with chocolate...especially these! And a handful is enough to satisfy the craving, so it is all good!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm craving ice cream for some reason and am trying really hard NOT to drive to the store and buy some. But I think about it daily and I feel that I may give in soon. What's that all about????
Green tea and dark chocolate .... Loads of antioxidants there! It's nice when something yummy is good for you too :)
ReplyDeleteSweet crochet projects ... Your hands are always busy :)
Your trio sounds like a great way to relax for a few moments.
ReplyDeleteWonderful trio...I have newly discovered Hershey's Dark Chocolate Kisses in the gorgeous deep purple foil wrappings. Your crocheting is blissful.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, Tammy. The chocolate sounds great. Your crocheted items are darling, too. Susan
ReplyDeleteYou are a very strong person to stop at one small handfull of chocolate LOL.. Well done :))
ReplyDeleteLovely crochet also .. Thanks for leaving a lovely comment on my blog ..
I love those little forget me nots... you are so clever to be able to do this work... wish I wasn't all thumbs... happy tea tuesday...xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hint. We're supposed to have chocolate too, isn't that wonderful?! Diane
ReplyDeleteCandy, tea, and crochet.........you have the perfect combination! Love your crochet dishcloths and flowers!
ReplyDeleteOooooh the title of your post sounds like my perfect day!! We don't have those choccies here, they look delish. And of course they are good for you being dark chocolate aren't they?!! My friend is always telling me that chocolate is really a vegetable because it comes from a bean. I like her thinking!!
ReplyDeleteHave a fab week hon.
Leah
xx
Dearest Tammy,
ReplyDeleteLove the coordinated colors with the dark Hershey's chocolates.
Got some more ideas for you here:http://bit.ly/GVuieU
She has a translator on her side too.
Guess you can use the glasses from e.g. vanilla beans. You will manage to come up with something.
Enjoy your tea, chocolates and crocheting.
Love,
Mariette
Love your crochet doily, and flowers!! Crochet flowers are so fun to make, and quite addictive! Have fun! :) xo Heather
ReplyDeleteSounds like a relaxing habit. A little chocolate, tea and crocheting and you feel ready for the evening. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice middle-week!
It sounds perfect,...I can imagine that you can really kick back and relax this way!
ReplyDeleteI love the dishcloths and flowers you made!
Have a nice day,

Hi Tammy...Oh I love those little flowers! I wish I could crochet, I'd love them scattered about in creams and whites ~ like they've blown in from the spring wind!
ReplyDeleteSuch nice crocheted things. It's little things like that which makes each day special. Nice tea day sounds like. Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteOh, the forget me nots are precious. I was just looking for some real ones when I went to the store but maybe the crocheted ones would last longer. I 'd like to string them banner-style across my mantel for some Spring decor.
ReplyDeleteI love those dish clothes too...those would make lovely hostess gifts or birthday etc. I should make some of those to have on hand.
I haven't tried the chocolate or seen it but I'm not chocolate crazed like some but now they say the dark, 70% pure cocao is healthy for you. That does sound so nice to have tea and a bit of chocolate and crochet. I always think of you when I pick up my crochet hook...you and Lucy at Attic24! LOL!
They sound yummy! I will have to look for them. Kit
ReplyDeleteyum....love chocolate and crochet! I don't drink much hot tea but I could get used to it if I had a neighbor like you!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've made dozens of these --- took a break --- lost my instructions --- but am still a newby enough at crochet that I need them. But now the link to the instructions says I need "permission" to access them. Sad. :(
