Nirvana

Mona and I met Melissa at a new Indian restaurant today for lunch.
We had the whole restaurant to ourselves so it was quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed garlic naan, cucumber raita, fish curry, mixed vegetables, chicken tikka masala and beriyani.  Delicious!
One of the delights of life is eating with friends, second to that is talking about eating. And, for an unsurpassed double whammy, there is talking about eating while you are eating with friends.  (Laurie Colwin 'Home Cooking')
Melissa gave us both a container of homemade cookies so I'm having dessert for dinner.
Sending sweet wishes your way for a wonderful day!

So you celebrate today with cookies...?
Have a great evening and a nice remainder of the week! We talked with my 'Papa' this morning (our time) for his 91st Birthday. We hope he stays as healthy as he is now.
    Love to you,

  15. Hi Tammy,
Looks delicious, I love Indian food and cook it often at home. I always treat myself to Indian street food when I'm shopping in London, usually followed later by delicious Italian ice cream.
    The cookies look yummy!!
    Smiles, Angela.
