Thankful Thursday: A Forever Home

I am so, so, so, so happy to report that the little Persian kitty I rescued a week and a half ago has been adopted by my very good friend, Leslie. And her daughter, Renee, is so, so, so, so happy to have a pet of her own.

The shelter had to shave her fur because it was so matted. She's had her shots, was spade and now she has a forever home. Renee named her Chloe. Isn't that sweet? I keep telling everyone I am an aunt. Now whenever I go visit Leslie and Renee, I get to see sweet Chloe, too.

What are you thankful for today?

  3. It's always good to find kitties a good home! Bless you for rescue! We have 15 here that were unwanted strays and dump offs that ended up at our house. It would be good to find homes for many of them, but with the economy and more and more animals go neglected, it's a constant problem here. I help raise money for the Pet Orphanage to help foster, spay and neuter and help with medical expenses. The grants we get are never enough to finish out the year.

  6. Good Morning Tammy Sweetie...
What a gorgeous share for this Thankful Thursday. I love this little face, and even shaved she is a doll baby. Chloe is a precious name. I am so tickled your friend Leslie and her little girl Renae have given this baby a wonderful home. They will have such a good time together.

For this Thankful Thursday, I am thankful for Momma and Daddy, and that I still have them to enjoy. I wish I lived closer, but it makes each trip home that much more special for me. I posted today about Momma's quilt she made over the Winter months. It is gorgeous. I am so thankful she has her health and is able to still do these things.

Country hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry

  10. Oh I'm so happy that Chloe found a home and one you get to visit! Chloe is beautiful even shaved. I am thankful there are people like YOU that help these wonderful creatures that God gave us. I too, do the same thing and if we all were like that, there wouldn't be such a thing as a neglected, abused or even a stray animal. But I am thankful for the ones we have!
    Bless you,my dear.
    Hugs,
    Sonya
