Long Time No See

It doesn't matter how much time goes in between visits with these gals; when we get together, it is like we've never been apart. Conversation flows easily and the affection we have one for the other is evident.

We met for brunch yesterday on a cool, cloudy morning at one of my favorite places.

By the time our first dish arrived, I forgot all about taking pictures of food.

Afterwards, we walked next door to Nestle Toll House Cafe. It seems this is one of four in the Middle East and there are nearly 100 Cafes by Chip across the United States.

I didn't know the franchise existed until this one opened up.

There are many people That we meet in our lives. But only a very few Will make a lasting impression On our minds and hearts. It is these people that we will Think of often And who will always remain Important to us As True Friends.

    We used to have a Toll House cafe close by, but I think it closed. The cookies were yummy though :) I love getting together with good friends for brunch or a sweet treat. Your comment about being able to keep the weight off was encouraging. We have a treadmill, and I've finally been putting it to use like I should :) I'm glad your ankle is nearly healed.

    Last week I was fortunate to have a couple of my friends over for a day of crafting, plus my fun brother joined us for a bit! I just loved it, laughing and playing like kids! It looks like your day was full of the same, it's just what we need~ t.xoxoxoxoo

    I feel very blessed to have a few very close friends who live on the other side of the world. Sometimes it is years before we see each other but we pick up our friendship like we had seen each other a week ago.

    Boy, do I wish I was in Kuwait right now! I MISS YOUR SMILING FACES SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! Please let Melissa, Elena and Zainab know that I saw their bright, smiling faces and sent all of you a big hug! I am so glad you met up with them and were able to spend a nice meal. I have never heard of those cafes either. Sounds like a dangerous place to have within driving distance...
