An Anniversary

17 years.

Neither one of us has hair like that anymore. I like to think of myself like a fine wine; and hubby is like aged cheese. Ha-ha!

I received flowers at my office today. Didn't have my camera with me; a friend took pictures but hasn't sent them to me yet.

Let's just say the bouquet was WAY too big to carry home so those flowers are still at school.

Weekend has begun here. No special plans. Hope you are having a great day in your corner of the world. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

  1. Hello Tammy....I think you and your hubs are the best aged wine and cheese I've seen in awhile. My dearest congratulations to you both on your anniversary.

Staying married is commendable, in this day and age of living together, divorce, etc. I think it's wonderful you two have forged a life together. So happy for you both.

Have a peaceful, super weekend. Take care. Susan

  37. There is a saying. It goes like this: "God doesn't give you the people you want - he gives you the people you need. To help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you the person you were meant to be."
You were given the best man to make your life richer, fulfilled and meaningful!
Congratulations on your anniversary and may you have many, many more!

  40. Happy Anniversary! I'm sure you could write a book about your adventures in living in a new land these years! I enjoyed your post on the tea and scones. My hubby brought a lot of the rooiboos (sorry , wrong spelling) tea back from Cape Town where he had it at every breakfast. I don't believe it has caffeine in it which is a plus for him. Have a good weekend!
