I've Been MIA for Good Reason

Bonjour dear friends! We just returned early this morning from 5 days in Paris.

Weather was perfect the entire week so there was lots and lots of walking and sightseeing.

From the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame.

We had a lovely time but it is always good to be back home. Time to tackle the laundry and prepare for back to school on Monday. We traveled through the night so I can barely keep my eyes open and it is only mid-afternoon.

I look forward to catching up with everyone soon. Hope your weekend is a good one. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

  4. I wondered where you were. Paris! How lovely!! :)

Glad you had the chance to get away and have fun.

Here, it's just been school - we already finished our 3rd week and in just a couple of weeks, they're at mid-terms already. I'm kind of glad that we've got this much behind us already and are well settled in the school mode.

It's a 3-day weekend here of course. Some of the hottest weather of the season started September in Illinois, with school needing to close early due to the excessive heat. So, they moved the football game to tonight - Saturday night - but it's still near 100 today...

  17. Welcome home dear!! We traveled all day yesterday too and got back to Doha last night. I promised myself I would give myself a day to rest, but looking at all the bags today made me nervous, and before I knew it, they were all unpacked, put away and empty. I can't help myself... I have a bit more organizing to do, and then the cleaning begins.
Looks like you had a wonderful trip. I look forward to seeing more pictures and hearing more stories very soon!!

Glad you are back in the neighborhood!

    XOXOXO
