Good Friday Morning!

I used to love night best but the older I get the more treasures and hope and joy I find in mornings. ~Terri Guillemets

Enjoying quiet time before the day begins.

No real plans for the day. Mostly hanging out.

Just the way I like it. Wishing you all a fabulous Friday. Friendship blessings, Tammy

  1. Hi Tammy,
I love the morning the best too. It's so quiet and peaceful. I sit and read my bible and pray.
    Have a great weekend.

  2. I do like English Country Living. Bought the August issue today. The fact that they're a couple of months old by the time they get here actually works because the seasons are more in sync! And now I know what the next one will look like. x

  3. Hi Tammy,
I love the early mornings. Like Anne of Green Gables says,'isn't it nice to think it's a new day with no mistakes in it yet'.
    Enjoy your Friday,
    Hugs Angela.

  6. Hi Tammy, I too like house magazines. If you like British magazines there's one that I particularly like called 25 Beautiful Homes. You might like to take a look at it. The photo of Jingles is so cute. Have a great weekend, Kathleen.

  7. I always like the mornings best now. I am always tired in the evenings and although I know its wishing my life away I always look forward to the next day.

I have been up since 2am (insomnia) so it's time for one more cup of tea, some pumpkin bread and then a nap!!

  12. Hi,
Happy Friday - just a normal workday here for now.... Feeling very much like the first day of Autumn out there - very, very cool air, but it's a beautiful day.

The quote is nice though it doesn't really apply to my Mom and I, who have always continued to be night owls. I much prefer staying up really late and sleeping in for a while. My Mom is the same and she's 81. :)

Hope you have a nice weekend,
    Linda

  13. I love mornings too but today my grands are with me (no school) so they change the dynamics a little. Guess I can handle it one morning. Have a great weekend. Jan

  14. I really enjoy mornings - if I have had a good night's sleep. I like to watch the sun come up.

Jingles looks quite comfortable in that pot!

    Have a nice weekend!

  17. Jingles always knows how to have a good time!

Looks like you're doing a bit of magazine catching-up. That is the only magazine I subscribe to. Mostly because if I hold out long enough, they sent me a 'special invite' to subscribe for $10 a yr. Good bargin, eh?

Have a great weekend. We've been enjoying cooler temps so have been outside alot. Bike ride again this weekend.

    Warm hugs

  20. I like time for myself and my cat (Jingles looks so much like my Smartie, but he had some white too) I crochet or knit and she sits next to me, doing nothing but appreciating the time together (and taking a few naps in betweeh) It usually works best in the morning because in the evening everyone is back home ;)
    Have a wonderful weekend :)

  30. Tammy, this post goes right along with your "byline"--to see the positive in every day and spread joy ...

I too love a quiet morning before the house hold arises ... that would be my husband I guess! The days become so busy, so these moments do get me off to a good start with time to myself.

  31. Your quiet morning looks perfect! No quiet mornings here, even on the weekends. I hardly even got online this past weekend, with something to do every minute... Seems that is what most days are like here right now. Very little time to sit. It makes the time pass quickly, which might explain why I have missed a whole week of your posts... It does not seem possible.
Hope you had a restful weekend!!

    Love,
    Renee
