Wednesday Wishes

A single rose can be my garden...a single friend, my world.
(Leo F. Buscaglia)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday. Internet here is very slow. Not sure if it is because of excess users or all the dust out there clogging up the atmosphere. Our afternoons the past several days have been very hot and dusty so it was quite a surprise to find this little purple bud when watering plants on the balcony.

“I’ve learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances.” —Martha Washington

Wishing you happiness and blessings, Tammy

  2. Hi,
I had Aiden again today , will have him a while tomorrow too. He is such a good baby. Hardly ever cries, of course Grandma doesn't really give him a chance.

  3. Such a sweet bag and pretty bloom. :)
School today - she had a great morning and now she and her boyfriend are off on their own (with his car) on a picnic at the gardens in Champaign and off to the movies later. These first three days of school are easy.... mornings only. I'm enjoying a relaxing afternoon with the windows opened - we have enjoyed cooler temps for a week now I guess, it's lovely though the inside temp says 85, which I guess would be too warm for some. Still - the air is dry and comfortable and there's a breeze throughout the house.

Have a good Thursday. Week is almost done.
    Linda :)

  5. thanks for your sweet offer of laptops. We too have a couple others at home for the dh and the children :)I save a lot of stuff on the pc that noone wants to share theirs with me :D.
I can imagine how hard it must be to go out in the heat for work. We 've regularly been visiting the beach inspite of the heat and dust to entertain the kids.
I love this pouch, the rose cross stitch in the centre is so beautiful.
that bud there made me smile. I love these little surprises. Does it mean the summer is almost over now?what plant is it btw?.

  6. Leo F. Buscaglia? Isn't he a Californian lawyer or something? That name is very familiar to me. I don't know how you do it with that heat...I guess you just get used to it...or not. Do you live near the ocean?

Have a wonderful and cool rest of the week Tammykins~

  27. I have a saying that goes...
'A man's life is what his thought's make of it'.
I think this goes a long way to the truth, I often find that it's the way I'm thinking of something that affects my moods and by changing my thoughts to more positive one's I can change my mood.
    Does that make any sense?
