Tea on Tuesday

There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea. ~Henry James, The Portrait of a Lady

Whenever I need a healthy snack to keep me going through that afternoon slump, I have something like this ...

dates and almonds with ginger mandarin tea. I'm a grazer so, rather than having three large meals, I like to eat many small meals and snacks throughout the day. How about you? What's your eating style?

Hope you are having a terrific Tuesday! Best wishes and blessings, Tammy

  1. My eating style....unfortunately I like three large meals and the snacks in between. It's definitely not helping the waistline!!
    Terrific Tuesday to you too!

  2. I tend to have breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. I used to scoff down double-sized meals in my younger years and was skinny as a rake but now my metabolism has slowed down, I should be eating much smaller portions. Easier said than done...darned menopause!

Apparently, it's better for the health to eat numerous, snack-sized meals throughout the day.

    Enjoy your Tuesday ~ :)

  3. My husband likes to eat three times a day and he snacks in between. I'm so used to cooking for him that I wouldn't even know what mine would be. I think it would be whenever I was hungry. Your snacks look yummy Tammy. Diane

  7. Normally, I am an almond and anything kind of snacker... but, I do love a big meal. Thus, the necessity of imposing restictions on myself periodically (about once every 10 years. LOL) to shed some of the 'extra.' I'm shedding right now. LOL! I need to take grazing lessons from you, Tammie. blessings ~ tanna

  10. I like your style!

Mine is that I eat a small meal around 7:00 a.m. when I get to the office, which might be a sandwich or some kind of lunch item and then I do not eat again until dinner at 6:30 p.m.

  15. my eating habits, do you really want to know??
:-) I eat a good breakfast, our warm meal is in the afternoon as many German families have, and then a lighter "lunch" in the evening. In between I do tend to snack, and try to be good about it by snacking on fruits and nuts, but I have a sweet tooth and find it hard to resist a bit of chocolate once in a while. And don't let me anywhere near ice cream!! ~Debby
