Tea on Tuesday: Elegant & English

I've had such a sweet tooth lately so when I came across these Elegant & English biscuits, I decided to give them a try. They are actually made in England and even had a quotation from Samuel Johnson (English Author 1709-1784) on the side of the box.

A hardened and shameless tea-drinker, whose kettle has scarcely time to cool; who with tea amuses the evening, with tea solaces the midnight; and with tea welcomes the morning.

I'm joining Kimmie at Art in Red Wagons for tea today.
Chocolate Raspberry biscuits along with Asian Plum White Tea make for a perfect afternoon snack.

    thats a really nice quote.I've had a sweet tooth too lately and have been eating soo much ice cream (kdd tuti frutti)the past few days.School starts for the kids tomorrow.

    I love the quote! Frequently heard in my house, "is the water in the kettle still hot?" meaning someone has recently made a cup of tea and someone is about to make one. The biscuits look divine :)

    YOUR COOKIES LOOK YUMMY, I HAD TEA TODAY WITH ALL KINDS OF CHEESE SNACKS WITH MY DAUGHTER JACKIE TODAY, THEN THE HOUSE SHOOK, WASHINTON DC HAD AN EARTH QUAKE AND WE GOT THE SHAKES ALONG WITH IT, THINGS WERE FALLING OFF SHELVES, IT WAS SCARY.

    I'm really late getting here this week. That tea with chocolate and raspberry biscuits look lovely, even though it's bedtime here. I think we both have the same sweet tooth, as mine has been on a rampage lately. Hope you had a lovely Tea Tuesday.
