Tea on Tuesday: Elegant & English

I've had such a sweet tooth lately so when I came across these Elegant & English biscuits, I decided to give them a try. They are actually made in England and even had a quotation from Samuel Johnson (English Author 1709-1784) on the side of the box.

A hardened and shameless tea-drinker, whose kettle has scarcely time to cool; who with tea amuses the evening, with tea solaces the midnight; and with tea welcomes the morning.

I'm joining Kimmie at Art in Red Wagons for tea today.
Chocolate Raspberry biscuits along with Asian Plum White Tea make for a perfect afternoon snack.

Hope you are having a terrific Tuesday. Friendship blessings, Tammy

  6. I love the quote! Frequently heard in my house, "is the water in the kettle still hot?" meaning someone has recently made a cup of tea and someone is about to make one. The biscuits look divine :)
