All the empty coffee cans are being spray painted and decoupaged one by one. A friend came by for a visit today and took one home with her. Yea! She said she would use it in her bedroom to hold supplies.
Now that the summer holiday has begun, time is mine. I can do things at a leisurely pace. During school, mornings are always rushed. I enjoy being able to give my plants their own first drink of the day. A little more Americana can be found outdoors.
My day has been filled with a little cleaning, blogging, crafting, baking.
Bananas that are too ripe are turned into yummy muffins with a dash of cinnamon, crushed pecans and mini chocolate chips. A perfect afternoon snack with my favorite green tea chai. Time for all that and more. I love these kinda days!

ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you , that you can relax in your days now..no more rushing off to school. Tomorrow I am getting my hair cut and colored at Daniell Nacols.. I know I didn't spell that right. I will get the correct spelling tomorrow. I am hooking up with Erica. she is the one who did my hair last time we were all in there together. They told me over the phone it should cost about $150. I think it is worth it to get my hair looking a little more chic. now I look like a mop! ha!

I love those coffee cans! I haven't done decoupage in a long time, but I love it. I think I need to decoupage something like my computer desk. I'm feeling inspired now. Maybe I can do that to help me make it through the days waiting for my new computer to get here!
