International Festival

Today our school held an International Festival. Teachers, students and parents worked together to create booths and displays for their native countries. It was a great learning experience. Please sit back and enjoy a trip around the world, the colors and culture of other countries, without ever leaving home.

  2. My mouth fell open! What a gift to have so many countries respresented right there at the same time for children to experience. I could have stayed all day. Thank you for the opportunity to share in it!

  3. Wow, what a fun "trip" around the world! Thanks for sharing! Of course, being a Texas girl I felt a little partial towards the Dallas Cowboys table...especially since I am originally from Big D!

  10. Very nicely set up. I want one of those American flags for my class since we are doing International Day in 2 weeks. Our kids have been hard at work coloring and painting. It's amazing what 5 yr olds can do. I'll make sure to take pictures and send them to you. Hope your weekend is going well....dust and all:) Sending happy thoughts your way.

  11. What a wonderful assortment of nationalities you have at your school. I loved all the pictures you took. The students and staff make some truly remarkable displays. I loved the one from Syria with the furniture. It looks exactly like things my husband has shown me.
I had a good laugh when I saw the Dallas Cowboys representing the USA. HA! My kids would certainly approve!

Hope you enjoyed International Day as much as we enjoyed seeing your pictures!

    Love ya,
    Renee
