Words fail to express my gratitude. Plus, thank you all for your pray for Japan. Many people in the northern part of Japan are now having difficulties. But I am sure that they feel your love and support.

Let me introduce the famous poem written by Japanese poet, Kenji Miyazawa who was born in the northern Japan. I'm still grateful for the July 2007 escape we had with our five students (15/16 yr) one day early back to the US. There was a typhoon and also an earthquake with a mini-tsunami. This time it is a monster tsunami and what can we say? Indeed we, the western world should reflect a lot more on all the things we HAVE!

Lots of love,

MarietteMariettehttp://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8263927360240129050.post-68754283503166713762011-03-13T07:58:31.391+03:002011-03-13T07:58:31.391+03:00Hi Tammy...my sister and her family lived in Japan...Hi Tammy...my sister and her family lived in Japan for three years, my nieces have friends there whose father is missing.
