How thoughtless! So much for wheelchair access there!

Your photos, as always, are intriguing and interesting, especially the final one which juxtaposes the old with the new. They have stood the test of time for sure! The statue of the person whose hands are separated....it reminded me of some countries where if you steal they cut off your hands...is that still going on? Maybe that's not what it meant but that's what I took away from it. The peacock was amazing but the architecture is what I really enjoy the most. And YES, I also wish people kept this way of living!

Good idea to explore the museums while the most people are on vacations. That's what I try to do sometimes on my runs around campus - explore areas that I normally wouldn't go when the campus is filled with students and faculty (which unfortunately will be again very soon - in just a few weeks now). I love the slower, quieter summertime months though I would enjoy less extreme heat and humidity which is all we've had here for the past month.

Moving our youngest, and my only, Sarah out of the house in just a few days... she has an apartment with her boyfriend on just the other side of Champaign so not far away, but still. Though I'm extremely happy for her because she also got offered both jobs that she interviewed for in the last week and accepted the one that is only 5 minutes away from her house. She will be an Employment Counselor for the Developmental Services Center (helping those with disabilities learn various job skills), utilizing her degree in the arts and all of her creative talents. Can't ask for anything better than that, considering she just graduated in May! :)

Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend,
LindaLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13925694371363142572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8263927360240129050.post-65403784536194173682017-07-28T15:05:55.348+03:002017-07-28T15:05:55.348+03:00I like that despite the heat you got out there and...I like that despite the heat you got out there and went exploring.
