Christmas has become pretty untraditional at our house too, so I can certainly appreciate being able to enjoy the day, even if it is not everything it used to be. Quite frankly, the thought of Indian food on Christmas sounds great, especially because I know it was good food at your favorite restaurant. The most important thing is that everyone was happy, and relaxed. That makes any day one worth having.
Glad you got some time to craft at the end of it all!! Keep the pictures coming. I love seeing all that you are doing!!!

Love ya,
ReneeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8263927360240129050.post-91661936763249757672009-12-27T21:19:16.486+03:002009-12-27T21:19:16.486+03:00Hi chicky!:)

Even though there was a language barrier, words are not needed for the generosity that you have shown. Nothing wrong for having an untraditional Xmas. I think it makes it more interesting and memorable.
Glad to see you had time for some of that crafting you been talking about. Hopefully I'll get to see you tomorrow and PF Changs for lunch.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17681984271863254793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8263927360240129050.post-32452250129385850252009-12-27T10:51:00.454+03:002009-12-27T10:51:00.454+03:00It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas, and m...It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas, and made it wonderful for someone else too. Different - yes, but none-the-less FUN :)

Ours was traditional as usual though I always make the most of these Christmases with Sarah because every other year, she isn't here on Christmas but at her Dad's house, so I'm always more sad on those holidays. We are still actively celebrating, since I grew up with Christmas through Epiphany in January... My decorations used to remain up and lit until mid-January, but once I returned to work full-time when Sarah started school many years ago, I began the tradition of taking down the decorations on the weekend after New Years... so that's what I'll be doing. But in the meantime...

Yes, a whole week yet off and lots of fun to come. Enjoy every minute.

Blessings,
LindaLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03241010459789159870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8263927360240129050.post-15545306644282822372009-12-27T06:54:33.712+03:002009-12-27T06:54:33.712+03:00Tammy: You did have a different Christmas. I know they really appreciated it since they were unable to be at home in India. I bet the food was delicious, too. I am wishing you and your family the happiest of New Years in 2010. I have enjoyed getting to know you this year, and your friendship is a gift to me. Much love and blessings!
